Our Mission

StatementPro was founded with a singular, focused objective: to eliminate the friction, wasted labor, and errors inherent in manually extracting financial records from static PDF documents. For decades, businesses and individuals have received bank statements, invoices, and accounting disclosures locked in Portable Document Format. While PDFs are excellent for official presentation and printing, they represent a stubborn barrier when accountants, small business owners, and analysts need to calculate, filter, reconcile, and import transactional data.

Why We Built StatementPro

Anyone who has attempted to copy a table of transactions from a PDF viewer into Microsoft Excel knows the frustration: columns merge into single text blocks, dates collide with merchant names, negative signs disappear, and check numbers lose their crucial leading zeros. Accounting teams and small business owners frequently spend hours each month manually re-typing numbers line by line—an arduous process that inevitably leads to transposition mistakes.

We engineered StatementPro to solve this problem programmatically. By combining coordinate text analysis, gutter spacing recognition, and financial reconciliation heuristics, StatementPro reconstructs authentic accounting ledgers with dedicated Debit and Credit columns, properly typed numeric values, and preserved identifiers.

Our Engineering Principles

• Accuracy Over Generic Text Scrapes: Unlike generic document converters that treat all PDFs like novels or essays, our tools are tuned specifically for the unique geometry of financial ledgers.
• Zero-Retention Privacy by Design: We recognize that financial documentation contains sensitive corporate and personal information. Our architecture operates on an ephemeral, in-memory processing model: documents are held strictly in temporary volatile memory and permanently purged within 30 minutes. We never store, sell, or commercialize your financial data.
• Accessibility and Transparency: We believe essential financial productivity tools should be fast, accessible, and transparent. We do not hide download buttons behind deceptive paywalls or require account sign-ups for standard document processing.
